Regulations

TEAM FEES
All team fees (3000AED) must be paid on or before the night of Tuesday April 5 2011. Playing shirts will be provided upon receipt of payment.

LATE FOR YOUR GAME
One (1) point is added to the opposition for every minute the game is delayed, starting from the referees whistle. If after five (5) minutes your team has not arrived, you forfeit the match.
Each team must have a minimum of four (4) players on the field to start play.

SCORING & GAME POINTS
One (1) is awarded for a touchdown by a male player two(2) are awarded for a touchdown by a female player. Win = 4pts, Draw = 2pts, Loss = 1 pt, Forfeit = no points.

SEMI’S & FINALS
All players must be registered to that team to be eligible. You can not borrow players from other teams. During finals if you do not have a female player on the field you MUST play with four (4) players.
In the Finals in the event of a draw at the conclusion of official time, an extra-time ‘golden point’ period of 10 minutes will be played. As soon as a touchdown is scored that team wins. A coin toss will be done to determine which team starts with the ball and the direction of play. In the event that no team scores during extra time, the team that scored first in official time will be declared the winner, in the event of a 0-0 draw the team with the most tries in the round games will be considered the winner.

PLAYER AGES
It is a requirement that any participants under the age of eighteen (18) years of age have written parental/guardian consent.

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
A player may only register for one (1) team per league. All players must be registered. If a player is found to be in contravention of ‘Player Eligibility’; the team(s) that person played in, will forfeit their game for that round.

TEAM LISTS
All team captains/organizers are required to submit a Team List prior to playing your first game and whenever you make alterations to your team’s composition. The official reserves the right to make any/all Team Lists.

FORFEITURE OF MATCH

Fielding of a player not registered for your team without permission.
Not filling in the Team List form correctly.
Having less than four (4) players on the pitch.
Turning up late after the required five (5) minutes.
Inappropriate behaviour at the discretion of the referee or official.

The opposition are awarded the win of four (4) points, plus five (5) tries to nil.

FIRST AID
Initial first aid to minor injuries will be administered at the venue. Any injuries that require specialist services including ambulances or the attendance of medical staff will be carried out at the cost to the individual concerned.

Playing shirts MUST be worn.
Footwear MUST be worn. Screw in studs/cleats are NOT allowed.
Any item of jewellery or sharp or long fingernails deemed dangerous by the referee or official are NOT allowed or MUST be taped.

Abu Dhabi Harlequins Touch Rugby reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these Regulations and any changes shall be notified to all users.
